First as Raiders, now as Bolts, the girls team qualified for the state cross country meet two years in a row. The Bolts girls team was edged out by the winning Panorama Panthers at the district qualifying meet. Two Bolts qualified as individuals along with the team. Brenna Thomson and Lauren Ratliff both qualified for their second year as individual qualifiers. On the boys side, Logan Berg and Ian Thomson qualified for the state meet for their second and third time, respectively. The duo has been running together since 8th grade, and plan to continue running together for Thomson’s final season next year. Both boys finished in the top 60 at state as well. Though the team did not qualify as a whole, they look forward to having a successful season next year. With only one graduating senior, the Bolts cross country teams are looking very promising for the 2018 season.
